Porvoossa, sadepäivänä // Porvoo, on a rainy day

Sometimes I feel that I have to go to The Old Town of Porvoo, just to walk the streets and absorb the atmosphere.
Actually I think Old Porvoo has something to say to me, but I have no idea what it might be.
It is whispering. I have to be there, I have to listen.

Nämä värit! Vanhat kujat ja talojen tarinat!
Isäni on Porvoosta kotoisin. Uteliaisuus ainakin.

These colours! Old narrow streets and the stories the houses have!
My dad is from Porvoo, and his grandfather had a house at the church square. It's lo longer in our family, but maybe something was left. Curiosity at least.

Saamme seuraksemme mahtavan kaupunkioppaan.

We are accompanied by a great city guide. She tells about the inhabitants and says that there is a very special atmosphere, feeling in the Old Town.
Maybe you have to be of a certain type to live in a house with skew walls.
Now the houses are expensive.
But to have a wool shop or a writer's corner here!
